Raising Racial Consciousness
Disrupting the norm. Breaking the cycle.
One conversation at a time.
One conversation at a time.
RRC is on a mission to disrupt our common-sense mode of thinking in pursuit of a racially equitable society.
Employing an integrated approach, that combines academia with targeted coaching conversations, we seek to raise individual and collective racial consciousness, one conversation at a time.
Experts on histories and cartographies of ‘race’, RRC is an education and coaching organisation.
Working with leadership teams, DEI practitioners, executive coaches and supervisors, we provide a critical thinking environment in which to learn and unlearn.
Framed by the global pandemic and heightened public conscience on matters of social justice and inequality, we are able to support leaders to navigate racial discourse with confidence and intelligibility.
At RRC, we do things differently. The antithesis of ‘tick-boxing’ we support businesses seeking commitment to racial equity rather than compliance.
Understand the mechanisms of racial inequality.
Develop their racial literacy, providing them with the language and ability to create psychologically safe spaces for their teams enabling them to thrive.
Raise their racial consciousness, empowering them to drive action-based change that is impactful and lasting.
Providing the knowledge that connects contemporary inequalities with histories of colonisation.
Raising critical awareness of the knowledge base that shapes our everyday assumptions and understandings, supporting you to reflect and 'make meaning' of the knowledge gained.
“Critical thinking requires us to use our imagination, seeing things from perspectives other than our own and envisioning the likely consequences of our position.”
